Untamed Feminine is a hybrid documentary exploring what happens when we shrink ourselves to fit into a world that fears emotional truth, vulnerability and intensity. Through workshops, intimate testimonies and first-person narration, the film reveals how patriarchal norms shape us all, pushing women and men alike to disconnect from their bodies, suppress their emotions and apologise for who they are.

Blending observational scenes with symbolic imagery and internal dialogues inspired by IFS, the film creates space for rarely spoken truths to be voiced. There is no single protagonist, instead, a mosaic of lived experiences: women told they are “too much”, young men taught never to cry, and people of all genders navigating the quiet violence of emotional obedience.

The Wild Feminine appears not as gender, but as a universal, intuitive and creative force, exiled from public and private life, yet still pulsing beneath the surface.

Untamed Feminine does not aim to provide answers. It asks the questions we have been trained to avoid.
Why have we been taught to silence our wild side?
Why do we fear our own intensity?
What might life feel like if we allowed ourselves to be fully alive?

The film builds to a shared moment of emotional release – a return to feeling, connection and authenticity.

The Untamed Feminine film does not follow a single hero’s arc. Instead, it weaves together personal journeys unfolding in workshops, intimate conversations and everyday life, stories of people learning to speak their truth after years of shrinking. We witness moments of fear, courage, softness and intensity, as participants reconnect with their bodies, their voices and the parts of themselves they once exiled. Through this evolving, collective process, we discover what becomes possible when the wild feminine: the intuitive, creative, emotionally alive energy within us all finally returns.
